Dutch Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 I have made a few evening/night trips looking for whites in areas where we used to catch a bunch. Last night we only caught a couple but the wind kept me off some of the places I wanted to fish. Are they surfacing in the evenings like they used to?
Members strat278 Posted June 4, 2014 Members Posted June 4, 2014 fished up there over the weekend, seen people catching em trolling, but never seen any surfacing its time for em,
DADAKOTA Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Did not see any surfacing whites last week when I was there. I am thinking it is a little early for that.
5bites Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Nor did I from googer to the power lines. They should be soon I'd think.
Dutch Posted June 5, 2014 Author Posted June 5, 2014 Thanks. I haven't personally seen any for several years.
Sac River Jim Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Dutch i agree the last time i saw whites popping shad by the acres was 3 yrs ago once in greisser just before sunset in june then last time was on a cloudy rainy day in August on the main lake in the hawker point area. We quit bass fishing tied on a silver spoon and followed them half way across the lake and had a blast.
