Fish24/7 Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 lake level 662.11 WT has dropped some with the recent rainfall now showing 78 surface temp Wed. morning. Getting great reports from fishermen visiting the area Local guide trips are reporting big numbers of smallies with the occasional bonus eye. Try just inside points on either side in 12-25 fow. with the grub. A few crappie are being caught on minnows in the deep brush piles, but it's been feast or famine. White bass are hitting topwater also near the mouths of creeks. It's pretty much over by 8am though.
Diamond City Fisher Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Thanks for the nice report. What part of the lake are these reports coming from?
Fish24/7 Posted June 12, 2014 Author Posted June 12, 2014 the guys i talked to were fishing major creeks, Gulley, Big,Spring, and up the Theodosia arm.
powerdive Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 I wish I lived closer to Bull.. Yah, QB, catching all those runt bass on TR gets old in a hurry, doesn't it? Bwaaahaha. Thanks for the excellent report, Fish24/7!
Ham Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 It is a massive lake and the different parts of it can fish very differently. I'm not finding stuff to be quite as easy as they are. Still catching them though. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

powerdive Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Well, of course I'd strongly encourage you to keep a few thousand bass also, but it's like talking to a brick wall with you bass sheeple.
