It's the cove that has Big Dick's in it.

May have to go try my luck over there for a while. It is just on the other side of the channel from me.

It's actually mis-named, it should be named "Short Bass cove". And Alcorn hollow should be named "Blue cat" :)

do not feel sorry about not knowing the names of your local coves. I have been out here for over 25 yrs and still talk to wrench like. " Yeah you know that cove down there about 1/2 mile from my cove on the left the one with the big round point huh "

Don't you guys ever study a map? :)

Alcorn is spring fed, and the upper end used to be a trout hatchery. Excellent structure. Lots of shelf rock interspersed with pea gravel, and several spots with good brushpiles.

Paper chart! Bonus points!

Sounds like a nice piece of water. Hopefully I'll get down there sometime.

Nope Wrench thats why I ask you. With the way my memory is going I have trouble remembering to open my fly when I need to. Much less the names of all the coves on my map.
