Old plug Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 do not feel sorry about not knowing the names of your local coves. I have been out here for over 25 yrs and still talk to wrench like. " Yeah you know that cove down there about 1/2 mile from my cove on the left the one with the big round point huh "
fishinwrench Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Don't you guys ever study a map? Alcorn is spring fed, and the upper end used to be a trout hatchery. Excellent structure. Lots of shelf rock interspersed with pea gravel, and several spots with good brushpiles.

Hopefully I'll get down there sometime.
Old plug Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Nope Wrench thats why I ask you. With the way my memory is going I have trouble remembering to open my fly when I need to. Much less the names of all the coves on my map.
