Missing Diver

They still haven't found the girl that jumped from the toll bridge here. What's that been, 2 months?

I guess I didn't hear about this one.

It was a women and they were diving in pairs, but the water was murky. Last night they said they were bringing in some special equipment. It was reported that when she went missing she had 40 minutes of air left and 20 minutes when authorities started searching.

I have seen that equipment. They got at least two of them and I imagine more. They are Jon Boats with two operators in there and some high resolution sonar. We had two here looking for the kid that jumped out of the patrol boat. I think they. are based in Jeff City.

They got out there first afternoon and I thought they were going to get swamped just coming up from Coffmen's beach. They stopped at dark and were out there very early the next morning.

A couple of guys that can dive up to 190 feet for over an hour are over there this morning. I haven't fished much around point 7 but apparently there is a big cliff over thata way that they believe they were diving when this happened.

Media here in NE did not have any more on the story, other to say that she went missing from her partner with only 20 minutes of air left. Water visibility was said to be pretty low.
