dtrs5kprs Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 I was trying to understand your post about being a booger with the Ranger? Density issues. It is no longer an open lot. They built a bunch of dividers and curbs all over it, and there is no longer parking right up by the shops. That area is now for traffic only. About the only actual boat friendly space is down by Kimberling Inn. Depending on how folks are driving/parking (badly, generally) it can be tough to tow through. When I was down in April the curbs were in, but it was still just gravel all over. Not that density issues are completely out of line. The big girl is a barge for sure.
Old plug Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 I thin, they might just have been spending a lot of money to give the lot a ozark like feel. In the lower picture in the lower right corner it looks like it either was bot done are some of it is poor workmanship
Old plug Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 CHAMP----- I hope your right about it being forward looking. I just wonder what you do in a few years when you have trapped under there. it will build hp and something will have to give. Maybe it will just go straight down into the ground. and not really trapped at all.
dtrs5kprs Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Great. Some real ingenuity going on there. Yes sir. I towed through it in April a few times when its was less busy. The entrance/exit closest to Rapid Roberts was as far as I went hitched up on the recent trip. Can only imagine how bad it might be around the 4th. KY3 had a story on it with video and more pics.
