New trap this weekend from harbor freight. 20bucks and has a dropdown tailgate to load bait. Folds flat for storage. I nailed my mater eating possum first nite.

Dark phase young possum. Been taking one big bite out of a tomato and leaving the rest on the vine.

Nothing this morning. Declaring war on the bunnies too. Came home and my fall green beans were reduced to stems and stubble this weekend.

Don't overlook the squirrels when it comes to taking a bite out of tomatoes. They have always been my biggest perpetrators. One way to curb some of it is too put a pan of water next to the tomatoes. They often do this to get water, not tomatoes.

Squirrels have been eating my maters like crazy this year - many of those squirrels now have new homes.

Did you ever get that skunk yet? I had a pair mating in a fire pit this weekend at Montauk before I went to bed. I broke them up and shooed them off. But they came back later and tried to get under the rain fly.

Not yet, but he came back last night for the 1st time in several weeks.

I need to freshen up the bait.
