jeb Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 I on the other hand would rather it be hot as crap Same here. After living 35 years in MN, I'd rather sweat than shiver any day of the week. John B 08 Skeeter SL210, 225F Yamaha
jdmidwest Posted July 16, 2014 Author Posted July 16, 2014 Ahh, 53 degrees this morning with a 19 percent humidity. A far cry from Sunday's 105 heat index. This is nice. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
jeb Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 *Gets out the broken record and plays that old familiar tune: "Gosh. It's cooler than average where I am right now, so it's obviously colder everywhere on the planet and it will be for decades to come" I suppose that one will be spinning for a long, long time. Actually, given that 95% of the pro-GW models have been shown to be incorrect and that global temperatures have not risen significantly (or at all, depending on who you listen to) in the last 10 years or more, it's at least as valid an argument as the "sky is falling crowd" is putting forward. Feathers and Fins Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 It was 65 last fourth of July. Global this Global that the earth has been heating and cooling its entire life. But the research on the earth is big money and great for politics. What angers me over it is all the Job that are not being created because some say ( unproven but theoretical ) its warming. When I see families that REAL PEOPLE not theories and definitely provable that are suffering because of the entire Global Warming argument that is when I smell the stench of Washington DC. And nothing smells worse than that or screws up things worse. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
REDSOXWSCHAMP Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Same here. After living 35 years in MN, I'd rather sweat than shiver any day of the week. I agree with that, ive never been so cold in my life. it takes a special kind of person to live in MN
Old plug Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Climate change I guess is partly generated by corporate greed.

Phil go ahead and kill this while you can. Leave the politics out of this main part of the forum. It annoys that Sh!&%# out of me and I'm sure others
Tim Smith Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 *Forehead slap. Move it over to the Conservation forum side boys if you care to have your denialist disinformation rectified there (and my compliments on a series of...gems....posted above). I agree this part of the site is better off as a demilitarized zone.

Bingo.... Get out and fish, even if the bite is off! You can't beat this weather in regards to comfort for July. I'll be out there this weekend when it's back in the mid 80's... which is still better than mid to high nineties
