moguy1973 Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 What's the most times anyone has ever caught the same fish? I have now caught the same 2lb bass 4 times now out of my sister in law's pond. I know it's the same fish because the first time I caught it was on a large segmented wake bait and it left a pretty good gash on the right side of the bottom of its mouth. That was on the 3rd of July. Then I caught it two more times that weekend on a jig. This evening I caught it again on a jig to make 4 times total. The gash had healed pretty well in the two weeks since it was made. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

Feathers and Fins Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 I stopped counting and even have turned trusted friends on to it with the promise they release it unharmed and keep it a secret. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Justin Spencer Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Went to Canada one year on a fly in and were trolling for walleye. White wiggle warts were the ticket and finally had lost all but one. Hooked a nice walleye and broke it off. I was bummed about losing the last white wart, but luckily caught the same fish the next day and got it back. Nighthawk Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 I caught the same 5 lb rainbow 3 times in one day at Montauk's c & r stream, on the same fly.
mhall02 Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Same grass carp in the small family pound numerous times. Talk about fun on an ultra light!
