Yak, there use to be a guide on Beaver that would get the striper hooked up then put the client in a yak and let striper pull them around as they reeled the fish in .

Thanks for the info Ron. I imagine that was a lot of fun for those clients or at the very least a unique experience. When I lived in Mobile, AL I had a friend with a 28' CC. A few times we loaded the kayak in his boat and went out and chummed the offshore rigs. When we would get a bunch of nice snapper, triple tail, and cobia around the boat I would jump in the kayak, drop a bait down, and hold on. It was a blast getting pulled around by nice sized cobia and snapper. I used to catch some big redfish in Mobile Bay too.

Hmmmmmmm, I think I could arrange to be a tender boat that would solve the bait holding issue Yak, meet at Prairie Creek and we tow your yak get bait and then get at it.

You'll need a spotter. Holler at me when you decide to go out. :)

I have a second kayak. Double trouble.

Having 3-4 dozen fresh Beaver shad in the tank every morning for a guide trip could be a lot of work, but I've rarely been unable to catch enough there for a personal trip.

I can't dance like I used to.

Even during the summer? I have often wondered how hard it would be to try to net some shad on Beaver.
