Quillback Posted August 8, 2014 Author Posted August 8, 2014 LOL, nope. I have one. Might buy a couple more the next week or two but not in any hurry. Donna and I are actually gonna fish Saturday instead of play golf but I think we're going to Grand. I have a little bite going on over there that's pretty fun. I'll be interested to hear how you do.
fishingaddiction Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 we had them rigged on a 1/4 NuJig and a 1/4 bullet weight on the line. this is a better set up than t-rigging. much more snag proof, and much better hook ups. bo Sounds like a nice set up Merc. Thanks Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
Champ188 Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Grand did not happen Saturday. Wasn't feeling great and just couldn't drag myself out of bed at 4 a.m. to go day fishing on an August full moon.

How about golf, Champ?. You guys have multiple of golf courses over there at your disposal. The one thing I found, I couldn't be proficient at both. I marvel and greatly respect you fellows that can. I want to thank you and QB for your nice and consoling words and thoughts and I look forward to meeting you sometime this fall when hopefully everything will get back to normal. In the meantime good luck at both fishing and golf.
Champ188 Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Hey Hazbin, we actually did play golf both Saturday and Sunday. Golf game isn't bad ... shot 77's both days on different courses ... but my fishing does get very rusty in the summertime. You are right ... it's hard to do both at any accomplished level, especially when still working full time. Thinking of you and will pray your neck procedures go smoothly, along with your recovery. Would enjoy meeting you this fall, as well. Donna and I will be spending time at Table Rock then and we'll make a point to get together with you. We fish the Emerald Beach area quite a bit.
