The wife and i were fishing up by the spring and one of the fish i caught was speckled and black looking. I released it not to me it didnt resemble a brown but my wife said it was.

The one thing the wife and i for got to use yesterday was Sunscreen.

The park was busier than i expected, also im not a big fan of them building more cabins like they are doing down by the spring. I go to Bennett for serenity not to look at buildings everywhere

Bennett is not about quality trout fishing anymore . It's all about the concessionaire making more money.

Yeah I had a fit when I saw that construction. The hypocrites bought out Henry's cabins, and the houses back on the tree line and Springview, closed the campground above the spring, all to keep the area natural, or so they said. Now they do the opposite by buliding cabins inside a rock throwin distance.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

It's the only complaint they here Wayne, we need more along the stream. Remember!???. Give me a break.

What we need is less intrusion by concrete and commerce.

This is why I like Montauk....very few if any buildings along the stream...and much more natural.

I never went back to Bennett after I went to Montauk. Better fishing and more stream to fish.

If Montauk had the same concessionaire it would end up the same way. No doubt in my mind..

I hear that! It started down hill when Sam Welch teamed up with Jim Rodgers.
