budman
Got a call from a friend who said he wanted to try fishing on the Arkansas River in Tulsa. We fished around the 71st Street bridge. Got there about 6:30 and walked to the west side of the river. In the first 5 minutes I caught a 15 inch striper, maybe a hybrid. Got a couple more bites but missed them all. Then about an hour later I caught another fish that stayed down and just gave a steady pull. When I got it to the surface it was a catfish. It was a 12 inch channel cat, didn't know they would bite a fly. Over the next 30 minutes I caught 3 more. My friend caught one fish, it was long nose gar about 15 inches long. Tried to attach a picture but it keeps telling me it was too big. Has anyone else been catching any channel cats on your fly rod?

Greasy B
Yeah I lucked into a good Channel Cat a while back, it took an articulated streamer. I would love to find a place where I could catch them regularly. His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma.
