dennis boatman Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Lake O fish needs an * A strike indicator is just a bobber...
Members Bassattack1990 Posted September 21, 2014 Author Members Posted September 21, 2014 No I was serious? I bought the biggest I could find? 50" fish is huge and not just gonna swim into a net. I used it tonight on the walleye I caught. And the buzzbait deal was pure luck. I wasn't fishing for Muskie at that time and of course I catch one. Trust me I can't afford to lose my buzz baits they don't make them anymore. I like iv said I appreciate the help iv never done this kinda fishing and all I'm out there for is pictures. So I never wanna see a fish die and go to waste.
laker67 Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 there was a guy a couple of years ago that caught one that would have been the new state record, if he could've got the MDC to verify it, but while waiting on mdc the fish died and could not be considered for state rcord some one is telling you a whopper. no requirements about dead or alive. All it must do is outweigh the current record of 41 lbs and some change and be legally caught. If the buzzards have been eating on it, then there is a good chance it was not a fair chase.
Nighthawk Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Bassattack, go by Plateau fly shop in Springfield. Those guys know a lot about Musky fishing.
