Ham Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 The trout are biting just fine. I banged out 58 in three hours this morning. No monsters, but plenty of good chunky fish. Every color I tried caught em. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

Ham Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Getting my zig jigs organized for the trip while my wife attacks Black Friday Lol, my Zig Jigs stay ready. I do have to restock from time to time. KOKO Bret. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Ham Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Are you doing 1/32 then 1/16 and then 1/8 all in a row of the same color? Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
LittleRedFisherman Posted November 28, 2014 Author Posted November 28, 2014 actually the pic is sideways, but I go top to bottom 1/16 1/8 1/4. Those 1/32 I'm gonna keep separate for my fly rod, or if the water get really low. I only got those in white, mainly for my smallies on the fly. Yeah there's no telling how many zigs you got Ham. However, I had forgotten about those Richard brought me when we met last year, I had those to, so i'm stocked up for sure. I got some red and black, and of course pinky's this time for the arsenal!! Ham Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 I was throwing Miss Pinky in the shallower stuff with higher flow. Ginger/ Orange , Oliver/Ginger, Brown/Orange , and some funky brown with a chenille body in deeper stuff. I seriously expect a bite every cast and start to wonder if I go 1/2 dozen casts without some sort of bite or follow. If you're in the right place, that isn't as unreasonable as it might seem. LittleRedFisherman Posted November 29, 2014 Author Posted November 29, 2014 I"m making a bold prediction, that someone is gonna hook a 6 plus pound brown on this years trip! I do hope the weather is better than last years meeting, at least the roads hopefully. But i'd take some cold weather if we could get the wind, or lack there of, that we had last year! That was great for jigging! There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
LittleRedFisherman Posted November 29, 2014 Author Posted November 29, 2014 Don't bet the farm on these long range forcasts, but there more accurate than in the past. Looks pretty good if holds! http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/mountain-home-ar/72653/december-weather/331876?monyr=12/1/2014 There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
Ham Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 I won't be able to help myself. I will look at the 10 day outlook, but I trust it a lot more about 3 days out. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
