i need to get busy and start transplanting some at eagle rock, and see if we can get them going around there. sure would be nice to get them hanging around there too. it would be a whole lot easier if the mdc would just do some stocking programs.

sound like you have catching quite a few lately!! i think the shallow bite in some areas is going to keep getting better. it is getting close that i will actually do some day fishing, hahaha.

Yes, been doing some early fall river ratting. Crank bait/spinnerbait/buzz bait/jig bite up shallow all coming around. Keepers hard to come by. Big ones even harder.

going with one of my retired buddies from emarld beach tonight and see if we can spinner bait a few. been catching lots of little ones doing this, but very few keepers. but, hey, they have lips and fins and put a bend in the rod. can't be all bad.
