mhowerton Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I have a 30' x 40' shop that holds all of my duck hunting stuff, but just barely. I have actually got to the point where the last couple years I havent bought much except for shells each year. I do need a couple dozen diver decoys though.
ness Posted October 2, 2014 Author Posted October 2, 2014 Mrs. ness always says I've got too much stuff. Then I mention her shoes and clothing, which sorta changes the conversation. Got a dozen dekes ordered, should have them in a few days. If you guys think the MO seasons/zones are a mess, take a look at Kansas'. Not only are they screwy shapes, they give the ducks a couple week vacation in the middle of the season. John
Feathers and Fins Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Ness, that is because Kansas is all about "TOURISUM" hence the T in KDWP&T https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Boobie Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Speaking of dekes. Im going to try the flocked headed extreme dakotas this year. I hope they make a difference because they were not cheap. They look super next to any other mallard deke i own. Lots of pressure around the st.louis area. Its hard to get away from people.

They will probably make you very happy when you look at them shining in the morning sun. In the end, that's really all that matters anyway-that you are happy with your purchase.
Feathers and Fins Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Boobie, as long as your happy that's all that matters, I will say I am not a fan of flocked simply because of maintenance if you hunt hard and the only thing that required more than flocked was having stuffers. Just take the time to protect them to and from the field and they should last you. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
ness Posted October 3, 2014 Author Posted October 3, 2014 What's flocked? I saw that description attached to more expensive dekes. Save me a Google please. John
