Members Ranger Dave Posted October 6, 2014 Members Posted October 6, 2014 I haven't seen any surfacing this summer. That lake doesn't have the population that it used to. I have seen a lot of surfacing lately. A few weeks ago they surfaced continuously for up to 1 hour. Caught a limit in no time. I usually fish for whites around the flats across from Cedar Ridge or down by Masters Island.
fishinwrench Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 No such thing as a "straggler" White bass. If you found one then you've found a mess of them. Sometimes catching them is a different story.
Sac River Jim Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 if i want whites this time of year i go up to greenfield landing and fish the flats on the road bed side its best when the wind is blowing up on the bank. ive heard of a couple tournament anglers complaing about catching monsters on spinner baits around cedar ridge area lmbo!!!!
