Quillback Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Could be only for one game, but they still have an outside shot at the division. They could end up in a tie with Detroit, have to play them in a one game tie breaker for the division, and if they lost that game, play a one game playoff against Oakland.
Jerry Rapp Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 an I-70 World Series is still a possibility!
Lancer09 Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 I'd almost rather have the wild card than have to play game 163 against detroit. if we played that we would throw shields and If we won he wouldnt be available for Oakland. I want big game james throwing a home playoff game. Lester will be tough to beat.

Maybe have the crowd act like it is golf when we are batting. That being said it was fun last night, and I do hope for a one game playoff with Detroit, would love to win the division and get the Orioles instead of the Angels. Quillback Posted September 28, 2014 Author Posted September 28, 2014 Well they had a chance yesterday with the Tigers losing. Duffy couldn't last more than 2 innings. He needs to get right because they are going to need him in the playoffs (should they advance past the wild card game).
Quillback Posted September 28, 2014 Author Posted September 28, 2014 Well KC gets to host the A's. Pulled this from HBT: The Royals will host the Athletics on Tuesday at 8:07 PM ET. James Shields is slated to start for the Royals opposite Jon Lester for the Athletics. Should be a good one. The winner of the AL Wild Card game moves on to face the Angels in the ALDS, which starts on Thursday.
ruthead Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 I'm gonna be at the game! YeeHaaaaw!!! Looking for a big performance from Big Game James. We can win this game but may have to score 3 or 4 to do it. Just hope Lester's curve in the dirt isn't working the way we like to golf for them pitches. BE ROYAL !!!!!! Quillback Posted September 29, 2014 Author Posted September 29, 2014 Let's hope Big Game pitches well, I doubt Lester will give up many runs.
Lancer09 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Them clinching was incredible. I was at Kelly's in Westport and the entire place was NUTS
