Members mattholder Posted October 2, 2014 Members Posted October 2, 2014 This is next weekend and we are needing 10 more boaters to help volunteer for a good cause! This is a life changing tournament for you and your warrior. No entry no expert experience needed just have fun and fish! They have a meeting and usually a guest speaker with a dinner! Here is the link or you can pm me to sign up! http://www.fishingforfreedom.us/
Members mattholder Posted October 4, 2014 Author Members Posted October 4, 2014 We have four beds available for the first four boaters that can volunteer for the Fishing for Freedom event.
Sore Thumbs Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Man. Wish I could go. Great job guys for putting it on.
Champ188 Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Me too, Jason, but I'm already committed that weekend. Matt says it will be same time and place next year. Let's go do it. We can travel and room together if you like. Should be a great time.
Members Brandon Knight Posted October 5, 2014 Members Posted October 5, 2014 How much is it to enter? I was wanting to fish the Tournament of Champions that weekend but haven't been able to find a partner and can't afford the entry fee by myself. I mean all i have is a 17'er and not much experience on that lake but if it means giving back to our vets then I'd be happy to if i can afford it.
Members mattholder Posted October 5, 2014 Author Members Posted October 5, 2014 Brandon if you decide to go to Truman I'm certain we have a bed for you so no lodging and show up Saturday afternoon and wait for the big banquet they will put on for us! No experience necessary we will give out patterns and some locations for the day there is no entry fee just a day you will never forget! We'd love to have you let me know trying for 10 more boats!
Members mattholder Posted October 5, 2014 Author Members Posted October 5, 2014 yes insurance coverage required and if you've never been on Truman insurance is a must!
fishinwrench Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Bet that cuts the turnout down considerably. Too bad.
Rodmaker Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Why would that cut down on turnout. Is there that many guys out ther running around on these lakes with no insurance? If that in fact is the case, that's a scarey situation....IMHO!
