Members RogueAgent
I ended up catching one nice one early Sunday morning. Won enough to cover our entry fees. We'll be back next year for sure. She hit a swimbait next to a bluff near the dam before the sun got too high. Couldn't get bit after that. The winner reported catching his at the 2 mile marker on a Omega jig in 2 fow at around 7:30 am Sunday.
Atta
Fished down by the dam today and couldn't get much to bite. Guess I wasn't throw if the right jig. Spent all day in the osage yesterday. Started out good and left to head almost all the way to Truman dam. Wasn't a smart move! Wish there was more timber in that lake. For tired of flippin docks!! Old plug
I can verify that dam area has been real hot for some people this year. I have a friend that he and his wife caught 9-10 bass this year between 5-6. I seen the pictures and there was none of htis holding the bass way out. All of those fish had a mouth like a cavern. Most were between 22 and 23 inches long.
Old plug
ATTA------ I fish evenings most ofvthe year. But the results show realfast there was Mrning bite and it was even more pronounced the second day. So I will be gitting on the water in the morning tomorrow if I do any bass fishing. But the crappie bite is making a big improvement around pink up time in the evening. So I do hot know what I will do.
WeekendWarrior
Well the lake was brutal Saturday with high winds, fishing was tough for our group of 4 guys but we managed to cash a couple checks, buddy had a 6.11 lb fish Saturday for $900 which I thought could contend for one of the first four money prizes with the tough fishing last few weeks, boy was I wrong. Believe there were 12 fish over the 6 lb mark with the winner being almost 8 lb. I had a 4.99 Sunday for $325 so we considered it a good showing for us fishing our first BBB. Great time with good friends.
