Members jcioni Posted October 28, 2014 Members Posted October 28, 2014 you're so short, you can sit on the edge of a dime...
Members Willyh08 Posted October 28, 2014 Members Posted October 28, 2014 You're so short, when you tell people "I'm not happy," they ask which dwarf you are instead
Pepe Posted October 28, 2014 Author Posted October 28, 2014 LOL, Great stuff. I haven't heard most of those. The last time we threw around "short" comments was a long time ago, I was wearing a uniform, tricky Dick was President and we were shoving perfectly good Huey's overboard as we bailed out of Saigon. It felt good to be short then and feels better now:)
fishingaddiction Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Congrats on the newly found time away full time work Danger. I loved the short jokes. Now go get after those Table Rock Bass! Born to Fish. Forced to Work.

Have forgotten all the short jokes. Never made it to Saigon. Glad you made it back. "Water is the driving force of all Nature." -Leonardo da Vinci
Champ188 Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Danger and "T" --- thank both of you guys BIGTIME for your service in that awful war. And thank God above you both made it back with your health and your sanity. I was one scared little boy watching those daily reports on the evening news and just knowing I was gonna have to go someday. I was a few years too young but had reached my teens by the time it ended, so didn't miss it by much. I went on at 18 and did four years of peacetime service in the Air Force. Again, thanks for what you guys did and proud to call you friends.

We all just did our job and truly learned the meaning of FUBAR. I was a heck of a lot more scared when my son was out of touch deep in Afghanistan. He got banged up a bit but is doing well. Only time I was in a military hospital was to have my wisdom teeth pulled. They do it the way you might rip a triple hook jerk bait out of a gar;) We are all blessed to be here and able to spend our free time on a beautiful lake.
