ness Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Welp, couldn't pull the trigger on 6 hours of driving today. Awful cold and windy up here, hope you guys did well. John
Buzz Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Very tough morning. Ollie nailed 1 in the first hole. I caught 1 chubbow and 1 minbow. The lower end was better. Ollie nailed 2 right off the bat in the first hole and I jumped my first rainbow off in the second hole. It took me a while to get out of the trees and when I did I tied on an olive scud which caught all of my 3 rainbows in the allotted time and 2 more after. Capps can be a fickle ######, well you know. Good time and I always look forward to it. Good to fish with Ollie and Scott again. Next Olliefest might be better at Hickory. Lol If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
ollie Posted December 1, 2014 Author Posted December 1, 2014 This year it would have been better. It was a slooooooooooooow morning to say the least. Boy Buzz you sure can catch those chub-bows! lol "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
