You guys stick around on this forum, take 95% of what you read here to heart, and start fishing Table Rock any chance you get. And don't just fish the upper White (i.e., Eagle Rock). I know that area is closest for us NWA boys, but get on down to Baxter, Kimberling City, the dam area and Long Creek. Go up the James to Cape Fair. All of those areas can easily be reached in under 2 hours.

Just don't go to the Kings. No fish there. Terrible. Awful. Ain't kidding. Would I lie?

Seriously, throughout its 55,000 acres, you will find a fishery much different and far richer in every way than Beaver. Well, you won't find any of those "import" fish but you'll be too busy catching the others to care.

Actually, this may be a blessing in disguise, as I am now reminded of a question I've meant to ask here....

I know that Beaver is south of Table Rock, but of course Beaver flows in to Table Rock, right?

I've never noticed a pattern on Beaver working the same way on Table Rock or vice versa -

I imagine I'm being too simplistic in my thinking - as I thought that the two would fish more similarly?

They really are not the same kind of lake. Beaver is not a true upland lake. Much shallower, much more affected by local rain/drought/wind. Much less a seasonal pattern. 20 years younger on the aging pattern. Beaver can give you TR clues but not much more. As a predictor, BS is far more accurate. Even so , TR and BS are not the same.

Moonshine Beach at least 6-8 weekends per year (gotta love a timeshare!).

I love the Rock! It makes it tough to come back to home lake sometimes lol!
