5bites Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 But what? But his perspective in real life, actually being there, may be different. Suitable?

5bites Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 I suppose that could happen. It obviously did. I've heard of worse. The guys up north targeting coyotes at great distances likely have pretty mean optics to identify them positively.
Members HeWhoFishesSolo Posted November 16, 2014 Members Posted November 16, 2014 Sorry, not anti gun, not anti hunting. Its the time of year we have to drape our beloved Emily in orange and have the idea of some hunter "its moving!! SHOOT!!" With my pup.
5bites Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 The guy in the story wasn't even that far out judging by the gun he used. He pretty much just screwed up on that deal.
5bites Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Not arguing that it doesn't happen. I imagine a fair share of dogs just get shot because the hunter was frustrated that they came through.
