Have been own since wednesday afternoon - fished from Fall Creek to Lilley's. Using a pink Trout magnet anywhere from 4-6' depending on where I was at on 2lb line.... As others have stated wind or chop on the water is key to a quick bite if there is no wind just give the line a pull or two and that usually will trigger a strike or two.

Yesterday morning caught about 30 all sizes up to quite a few that were pushing a pound....fighters all of them...even the dinks!

Happy thanksgiving and fishing!

I think there is only one sie head, they have a ton of them at Lilley's...and as for the color, well I broke off quite a few so I used black, gold and silver - it really didnt seem to matter.

Good luck

There actually are 3 sizes of magnets. The largest are crappie magnets, next are trout magnets and there is also a really tiny one that I cannot remember the exact name. They are so small it is actually hard to get the plastic tail on them correctly. I catch more on the "regular" size trout magnets. I would think there are situations where the crappie magnets would be good in running water, etc.

It is called a mini magnet.. here is a link...
