Snow Fly
32 and rain at 710pm 1/13/06 Troy, IL. neighbors lost some more tree limbs during the night. Pine trees just don't handle the ice well. Had the generator going so they could play thier video games and we could cook for them. Truck got hit by tree limbs twice while out picking people up and got hit by a power line once. No body hurt, so its been a pretty good day here Duckydoty A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Quillback
0730 Sunday AM and amazingly the power is still on here in my neck of the woods in Bella Vista. The forecast is for another round of precip this afternoon, I hope they are wrong. It's an icy wonderland out there, but the roads near my house aren't that bad. 0730 Sunday AM and amazingly the power is still on here in my neck of the woods in Bella Vista. Good thing I picked up 10 pounds of bacon the other day on sale at $1.00/pound. I think the kids are having fun with the whole deal. RSBreth
We lost juice right by the square here in Ozark at about 6:30 last night - saw the transformer flash from up the street when it was it by the tree. The guys got it going again by about 9:00. Pretty good work, I think. See if it lasts the day.
Terry Beeson
Well, I brewed coffe on the grill yesterday and just as it finished, the power came back on. I cooked bacon, egs, and biscuits on my sterno stove this morning, and as the last eggs were firming up, the power came on again. I guess if it goes out again, I'll just start cooking.... It's been a crap shoot on power all weekend... off then on then off then on then off....
