Pretty decent day. I'll let Champ188 write it up later. 23 total mix of spots and LM with 10 keeps about 13lbs for our best five. Left the house at 5:30 this morning and still trying to get home. Who knew the Cassville Christmas parade was THE event of the year and happens tonight. Lol

Not really much to add. For me, the fish continue to be found in better numbers on main lake areas than back in the pockets. Even those steep cuts with 60 feet of water or more don't seem to be holding many fish.

We caught 90 percent of our fish or more on jerk baits. In my case, that was because I threw it 90 percent of the time. Literally fished from daylight til dark ... bite was better early and they got really fussy for us after about 1 p.m. I think that cold front had passed by then and the high pressure was settling in. Wind seemed to swing out of the northeast, which is never good in my book.

Nice healthy bass. The large mouth bass seem to be really fat and healthy looking this winter, and a fairly good number in the 2-3 lb. range. I'm hoping that class of fish will have good survival success and give us a good bunch of 4-5lb. fish in another year or two.

They do seem healthy. Hope it stays that way. This one was definitely heavy for it's size

really nice healthy bass! it is really good to see we have some really healthy bass coming along. looks like the jerk bait bite is getting better, but with a few days of sunshine that bite might change. really nice fishing trip.
