Polar Bear set an all-time record a few years back of about 110 boats. Never had 250 and certainly won't this year with frigid weather expected.

Well the interest has been numerous a few weeks ago with lots of questions about it I heard.

I bet the weather does reduce the number down to under 100. I was in it the last 2yrs. Planning on being in it this year as well. It's almost a tradition now. :-)

Hey guys I went out yesterday at 1 pm, fished till dark and managed to land 4 decent striper. I found them up River a little ways from MN. I seen lots of birds working and my screen was blacked out with bait. I hope this helps

So what was the number of boats at the Polar Bear anyway? Does anyone know? I left PC around 2 or 2:30 and there was only about 25 rigs left. Lots of people went home early.

I seen in the paper that there were 34 boats.

Well that certainly is a disappointment. Over 100 last year. Was a lot of interest in it this year till the weather forecast looked terrible.

We fished Table Rock all day Thursday. Cold and wet but nothing GoreTex can't handle.

It's tough enough getting folks to fish tournaments anywhere these days, much less on Beaver.
