Bringing this back for a great deal I found. No special interests in this company, just passing the deal along for those who want to save skin and some $$$...

If anyone wants some 40 upf gaiter/buff/face protectors they have a great deal going here: http://www.spgapparel.com/shop?category=Buffs

Use the code SLAYER75 and you can get single ones for $5 +shipping or the 5 pack for $18.75 +shipping. I got 5 shipped for less than $25.

The colors are a little wild and out there, but they have some more simple camo colors too.

Thanks for posting that, Jim. I picked one up... You are right about a lot of the designs being "out there." To reiterate the importance of sun protection, I'm 32 yrs old and just had to have some skin cancer cells frozen off of my left ear... a result of youthful years and being 10 feet tall and bullet-proof. I wear a goofy wide brimmed hat and long sleeves almost all the time on the water now.

Take care of yourself. I know the human mortality rate hovers somewhere around 99% anyway but we don't need to help it along.

I spent 48 years working and fishing outside and a burn would turn to a tan in a few days, shorts, sandals and sleeveless shirts all summer. Just recently returned home from a stay in KC to have a stem cell transplant, (treatment for multiple myeoloma) one of the side effects of the killing chemo is a major succeptability to sun and skin cancer So it long sleeves, big hats, long pants and sunscreen from now on, unless I want to miss my grandson growing up and I aint gonna miss that if I can help it. I have several pair of the lightweight Magellan brand shirts, very comfy and big pockets. I won't be released TP go fishing again until October so won't know for sure how well it works for a while.

PODUM. Good luck. depends on how much your in the sun. But if you wait till your 80 you will more than likely have blotchs all over in your tan. I got a bunch of pink blotches here and there on my arms that are scars from skin cancers. They kind of clash with your pretty tan.
