O.K. I have tried this before but came up empty handed. Can anyone help me find out what the Lake record Largemouth Bass is for Stockton?????

Just Curious,

Wally

I know the state record Smallmouth came out of Stockton, but I don't know of any official records kept on the other species. Unless it's something really outstanding there isn't much emphasis on individual lake records.

I really hate to post this because I know what I am going to hear but I caught "around" an 18" Crappie in Stockton several years ago. That is measured with my hands but pretty darn accurate. Cut me some slack guys ..... I am just giving it to you as accurately as I can. Had a guy in the boat with me for a witness. Hope somebody comes up with the Bass Record.

This tweaked my interest so I have done a little research and came up with nothing. I contacted the fisheries biologist for Stockton, the DNR at Stockton State Park and the Stockton COE. Non of those agencies keep lake records nor do they know of any person or agency that does. When the marinas reopen in the spring maybe someone at one of them might be able to shed some light on the topic.

This doesn't really help with the Largemouth question, but I do believe both the previous and current smallmouth (as already mentioned) records come out of Stockton. The biggest smalley we've come up with is about 3.5lb with the largest bucketmouth being 7.5lb (last year).
