Have heard of some extreme ways of tweaking individual heads, including Stacey King and others, but it is much easier to find a better workaround. For streams I would pack the Ned and some topwaters. Probably wouldn't use the topwaters much except for the occasionally aesthetically pleasing blow up. The regular stream crowd would likely want it banned.

Not a problem hoss. Some guys actually are. I have seen pics of heads that were individually drilled out to have guards inserted, oddball keepers added to hook shanks, etc. There is a level of effort that is definitely past the point of return. Drilling out a 1/16oz head qualifies for me .
