Great idea there Rick!!

There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!

Rick has a very nice stable boat. That's a good thing for anybody to consider before purchasing. I love my Supreme AND

I've caught a crap ton of fish out of my boat and used it in four states in various lakes and rivers BUT it is the last 42 inch hull trout boat I'll own. I'll have a 48-54 inch bottom next time.

I agree on the 42". That's what I have. When you put 3 200 lb guys in there and a 90lb lab if everyone leans the same way it gets a little squirrelly. I am going to upgrade when the kids (3&1) get old enough to start fishing with me regularly. Think I am going with the mats that Phil suggested since I don't plan on having this boat for much longer.

Yall should try my 31" wide Shawnee. My dog almost flipped it last time out.

Current River Marine will sell you some of the perforated aluminum they use in the Blazer boats. You can use tin snips and cut it to fit in the bottom of your boat to cover up the runners. It's very light and you can take it in and out of your boat to clean under it. As for the Supreme's or Shawnee's with the flat floors, you can can get the perforated rubber door mats or they might sitll sell the marine version of the mats in Overton's and some of the other marine catalogs. The industial supply stores should have the mats and maybe even Walmart.

I've got a 2014 Supreme L48XP, deluxe trailer, and 3 seats I need to sell. It's only been in the water a handful of times and I've got it priced way below new cost. It's got the sales tax paid and has a rod tray and 2 rod tubes that will hold 9ft fly rods too. $7,750...870-291-5950 if interested...It's a beautiful dark blue with matching seats and trailer.

Restaurant quality bar mats. I inherited about 10 a few years ago, cut to fit and have used them to line 2 boats. Nonstick, durable, cleanable, and lighter than plywood sheets.

For pumping the water out of my Shawnee I picked up a cheap bilge pump at Walmart and attached some alligator clips. I keep the pump in dry storage and when the water begins to build up in the bottom of the boat I hook it up to the trolling motor battery and in just a couple of minutes the boat is empty. Given the pump is portable if necessary I just move the battery to the front or middle of the boat to complete the pumping of the water. I have had this pump for about ten years and can tell you it is the best $12 I ever spent.
