I must thank and envy those of you posting fishing reports on here. Its days like today when its close to 70 a bit overcast that I find myself daydreaming of TR fishing...the noise of jet skis, the tubes flying over my favorite submerged structure, the wind effecting my finesse fishing, high on lake gas prices not withstanding LOL...cant wait till I am back on the water!!!! Good luck to all and enjoy our piece of heaven ..

It is great to be able to fish what many consider to be a regional, if not national, destination fishery. I talk to people all the time that think I'm crazy to drive an hour each way to go fishing there. I don't think it's a problem at all. Great place to fish.

I'm with you, QB. That hour's drive is no bother at all, not even the hour-and-a-half to Kimberling City. Blessed? Yes we are.

I'd give my left eye to be on The Rock in an hour!..........people who don't understand an hour each way, need their heads checked.........it's about 4 for me........but I'm sure others have it worse.

If i don't stop, it's 5 hours for me. It's like Christmas Eve going there and when i get there it's like Christmas Day. I love it.. we are truely blessed to have great fishery, clean water and a body of water not visible with docks and homes. Plus in the summertime, the boating and swimming, along with some crowds is ok too.
