When Do Walleyes Run Up The Sac River? Taylors Bridge Area..

Im new to fishing the little sac river and just started last spring and caught whites, crappie, and catfish from the bank. Anyone with knowledge of this river know when the best time to go there to catch some nice walleye?

I asked the same thing about another lake in the area that has walleye and I was told " a lot earlier than you would think". THis one was in March and the guy I talked to was soaking chubs he had netted up. He had been catching walleye since early Jan, but every year varies.

I think you could prospect now.

i would start soon. from aldrich, i would follow the channel up to the bridge

I dont specifically target walleye but I catch some while I white bass fish the little sac. The hole right below Taylor with the big rocks is where I've caught multiple walleye so I think that would be a pretty good place and its easy to walk to from Taylor. If we get enough rain then I like to fish under the 215 bridge and that is where I've caught several walleye. That's the only place I have ever successfully caught my limit of walleye.

how far away is the 215 bridge from taylors? is it heading away from the main lake?

Head away from lake on county road sixty it comes out on 215head towards a Morrisville

will do! probably won't make it out this week but next monday or tuesday ill try and go, hopefully they are still in the rivers by then!
