dtrs5kprs Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 ...so if you get bored with the Classic coverage, Charlie Ingram's Fishing University is featuring the Spro Rock Crawler today. Guide says Norris Lake (TN) with John Crews and Mike McClelland. Outdoor Channel at 3pm. Looks like it was on earlier this week. Format is usually sort of gimmicky, but it should be a good chance to see the bait in action.
fishingaddiction Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Will try and check it out. Thanks for the heads up. Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
moguy1973 Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I guarantee they won't tell it like it is. From what I've read the Rock Crawler isn't anything like the Pre-Rapala warts...doesn't have the wide wobble or the hunting action that the warts have. They say it's more like a Bomber Model 7a in how it swims. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

Obviously the lip is quite different from the 7A.

dblades Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 The Bomber catches as many as the wart anyway.
