Devan S. Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Fished out of Eagle Rock today. As Grumpy53 said going into roaring river arm the point that comes out from the right is very shallow > 2ft and extends for quite a way out into the lake. I wouldn't cut corners going up the river.
Ketchup Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 any other info on that trip Devan? Wate temp, fish biting? TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
Devan S. Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Water temp was 40-41 in the lake. I spent most of my time trolling for whites or crappie in roaring river with zero luck. Water temps there ran almost 50 in places. Ketchup 1
merc1997 Bo Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 with out current water level, be careful boating, especially if you are not familiar with the lake. above the eagle rock bridge, there are many places that are out in the lake, but there is not much water on it. of course the tourist every year go with "if it has water on it, it is good to boat over". once you get below owl creek, there is not much to get you into too much trouble, with the exception of the rock creek backbone. bo
