They didn't have airboats last year, but they will this year but on Truman only.

Bunch of airboats flying around Truman might be a spectacle worth seeing.

Especially when they are all from TX and have never seen the lake in the light.

We are thinking along the same lines. Never mind the fact that Truman can be rougher than snot, all the way up the rivers.

Truest post I've seen here in awhile. Not sure that airboats, standing timber and nighttime mix well.

That's a Jekyl and Hyde lake if there ever was one when it comes to bass fishing. You can hammer the crap out of 'em on the weekdays, and they they shut the water off every darn weekend and only the locals can catch 'em then.

At least that's been my experience up there.

Not what it once was, for sure. Have to like fishing shallow and dirty. Fishes a lot better when it is about 6'-7' high, bushes and ditches.

I was also thinking about how some of those TX types go about things, full speed and check what you hit later.
