96 CHAMP Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 it was a long way to go for one day but it was all i could get in this weekend due to all of the family issues at this time, got down late saturday evening, but anyway after the fog lifted caught 5 keepers and about 8 or 9 all together fishing a 4" xps single tail grub along break lines at points scattered with pole timber and some cedar, counting down to 10 or so and just creeping the bait along as slow as possible, looks like next week i will be able to fish the weekend, as i left the boat down at play-port, perhaps next year if you guys have another fun tournamant i will be able to join in, looks like you guys had a good time. Good Fishing to yas Quillback 1
Quillback Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Thanks for the report! Looks like time to have a grub tied on.
Champ188 Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Good job on a very tough day. Ready for things to get better and I have a feeling they will this week.
96 CHAMP Posted March 16, 2015 Author Posted March 16, 2015 Wish I was down today, thought about throwing a wart in this wind for today, would be interesting to see what would happen
dtrs5kprs Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Good to see some grub fish. Always a sign things are ramping up.
