fishingaddiction Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Good day of fishing. Nice report and pics. Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
Quillback Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Anyone using a Bandit 300? I have some, mainly used to use them trolling for crappie, and would get bass on them also. I'm sure a guy could get bit on them when the crank bait bite is on. So many brands of cranks out there.
Champ188 Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Anyone using a Bandit 300? Bandit 200 and 300 series are excellent baits and there are lots of nice colors. They will work anywhere you'd throw a Wiggle Wart. I throw the 200 year-round in the Kings and James river arms. brierpointer 1
Longball22 Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 When it is cloudy like it has been this weekend, do you guys go to more opaque/brighter colors? I know the phantom colors are good on sunny days, but curious what to do with this cloud cover. I'm also assuming go brighter as you get up in the stained water. maybe even towards patterns with some chartreuse/more orange?
Champ188 Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Right on target, Longball. Just be careful in clear water not to overdo the brightness factor with your oranges and chartreuse. You still want to be somewhat naturalistic. Fish Wilson 1
Members CadeWompus Posted March 22, 2015 Members Posted March 22, 2015 Thanks for the replies on the Bandits. Hard not to just pickup a wart, but sometimes I like to show them something different
