Guest Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Are they pulling Beaver yet? Guess I could look, but can't remember where the levels link is for that lake. Not yet, its backing up with the usual generation schedule. They will probably pull it out of the bushes next week. that's my guess. Beaver might only get to 1122, since the Kings is running into TR & got the majority of runoff. That same pocket if heavy rain caused the sugar creeks & Elk river to blow up. Grand lake will be rising & muddy They cracked the gates at TK today & ramped up the generators. Water is running end to end. You would think a scenario like that would turn on the mainlake fish, but maybe its still too cold.
fishingaddiction Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Hey RPS. I suppose the bridge on Hwy 187 that flooded is closed, which means that you can't get through there to Hwy 23. Is that correct? Will be headed over to Lampe after work today and usually take 187 to connect to 23. Did they ever find the guy that was swept of the bridge in his SUV? That is just terrible. Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
GREENTRITON Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Holiday Island boat dock to the dam is a long way.. Been there.. Have stayed ay HI ,many times...
rps Posted March 27, 2015 Author Posted March 27, 2015 The bridge on 187 @ Elk Ranch will be some time before repaired. The one @ Beaver is fine. To reach HI marina from 23, turn into HI at the golf course and follow the road through the course and beyond until you come to a stop sign. Turn left (downhill) and then turn right @ the next stop sign. You will recognize the road to the marina. Oh, I haven't heard about the SUV driver.

Members Middleton369 Posted March 27, 2015 Members Posted March 27, 2015 Was down at the 187 bridge a few minutes ago. The bridge at Elk Ranch is opened so 187 is passable the entire way through. The SUV is still in the creek and they have not located the driver

OldMillRoad Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Hopefully that will flush some of the phosphates and nitrogen out of the drink and cut down on the algai blooms this spring. J-Doc 1
