Wow. Is that damage from the water or them trying to get in it I wonder?

I think it is water damage, there are pieces and parts scatter all over the creek bed and if the back hatch was pried open there should be broken glass, there was none there. Looks like it may have traveled about 200 yards from the main road.

Goodness. I've always had a respect for water. After losing a coworker last year (Rodney David) to a drowning at Stockton last year it really shook me how quick it can happen. That goes for all things life. You must be ready.

That picture ^ is what the bridge looked like as soon as the water went down. The one posted before that shows the emergency repairs. There are still two pothole on the bridge surface that they fill every other day with gravel. At some point they will have to shut it to make permanent repairs.

Are the pics above from the road that runs from 62 to Beavertown and Holiday Island?

Thought it looked familiar. Haven't been thru there in quite some time.

Yes, it is Holiday Island. I put in at Eagle Rock because of that.

Repairs have been made to the bridge after they tested it. Anything up to an 18 wheeler is good to go until the repairs give out.

They still have not found the gentleman and the search has been called off. For the family's sake, I hope he is discovered soon.
