my 1197c and 1158c got wet on wednesday. i took them off and dried them off in the house but when i put them back on this morning they booted up but shut down in a few seconds. I think the key pads have moisture in them. All I can think to do is seal them up in a big 25lb bag of rice. Does anyone have any other suggestions I can try.

Have to love it when there is an easy fix. Was a little surprised, had not heard much about birds getting wet like that. Lowrance would have been easier to believe.
