First and foremost, if this isn't allowed, please feel free to delete. I don't want to cross any boundaries. My father and I are down here on LOZ for our annual fishing trip. Got out today and thanks to help from you guys, got on a decent bite. We were excited for what the weekend has in store for us but then things turned south. We have a motorguide 82# thrust trolling motor. We were just out for some evening fishing and it started spazzing out...basically it runs on high speed at the constant setting no matter what speed or setting we have it on, and the only way to shut it off is to unplug it. After looking around on the internet and after taking apart the trolling motor, we think the SE module is the problem. It's a part that generally has to be shipped and then worked on, so we're kind of out of luck. Does anyone on here have any reccomend actions of places we could go in order to continue our weekend? Or does anyone have an extra motor we can borrow for the weekend? We're trustworthy people who take good care of our equipment, we're just from St. Louis and are kind of bumming at the thought of a lost fishig weekend.

I have a used MG 24v trolling motor here in Gravois mills that probably has the part(s) you need and you are more than welcome to come scavenge it, but first I'd recommend you give the guys at Reliable PWC a call 573-873-9994 as they probably have what you need new in stock. They are in Greenview.

If you want to check out this one I have just gimme a call and I'll give you directions. 573-569-5406. Glen

Thanks, Glen. I just took their number down and added it to a small list of numbers that I plan on calling tomorrow morning. I also saved your number as well, in case we come to that. I greatly appreciate your help and will keep you updated. Send us some good vibes, we sure need em!!

Update: got taken care of at reliable and fished all day today starting at about 1045. Thanks for the information, and hospitality Glen. Come by Lake View resort, and I've got a cold one with your name on it.
