Members sixstring531 Posted April 13, 2015 Members Posted April 13, 2015 My wife and I are bringing the boat down next Monday through Friday and I'm curious if anyone has any good suggestions for fishing around the Indian Point portion of the lake. Obviously we can drive anywhere, but I'm pretty sure we won't be fishing all day like I normally do, so staying somewhat in the area may be preferred. It looks like the spawn is on and I'm thinking I'll rig her up with a ned/lizard/shaky head/menace and let her have at it on transition banks. Thanks again for any advice!
MOBass Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 There is a bunch of good water in Indian. Start at the back of pockets and work your way out or start out on the points and work in. Make note of where you start catching them and the rinse and repeat at the next spot. The wife will probably clean your clock if she is fishing a ned or dragging a doctor.
Bill Babler Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Would for sure keep that 2.8 and 3.3 Keitech handy as well. Color does not seem to matter, swim it on a 1/4 oz. head a full cast from the bank where your boat is sitting in 25' Good Luck Ham 1 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

Bill Babler Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 You would have to take a boat ride. I don't think he has started the big engine on that boat in 5 yrs. Ham and Champ188 2 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

Champ188 Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 You would have to take a boat ride. I don't think he has started the big engine on that boat in 5 yrs. Pretty sure he put that fog stuff in the cylinders back in 2010. He's got a 36-volt trolling motor so he gets a running start at the trailer with it, yanks it up at the last minute and runs to the back deck. Boat just slides right up on the trailer.
