5bites Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Do any of you subscribe to that? Is it a constant infomercial on how important it is to the anglers like UMF was? That totally turned me off and was completely annoying. I don't have cable/satellite so I thought about getting this for the boys and I to watch. We watch a couple of the 30 minute samples on YouTube and my 11yo thought the format was fascinating.
Guest Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Idk man, I watched the 2 in Arkansas last week, Lake brewer & peckerwood lake I was very surprised they fished non tournament lakes. I could've picked some better venues in central & east Arkansas than those 2.

Quillback Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 I watch it on cable, I record it so I can skip by the commercials.
5bites Posted April 14, 2015 Author Posted April 14, 2015 I may buy the $29 thing to try. If I do I'll report back.
Guest Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 That's part of what i actually like about it... There are a ton of other non-tournament waters in that area that have much better fishing. Lake Brewer is a good crappie lake. Peckerwood didnt even have a boat ramp when I was in high school, it was a dirt ramp. There are so many good lakes along the Lower White River that would've been a better choice. IMO
Members basscatfan Posted April 15, 2015 Members Posted April 15, 2015 Hey 5bites. It's a really cool format and interesting to watch. The only ones I didn't like we're the ones that were in Florida where everyone was pitching grass. I like it a lot better when they are fishing different patterns.
moguy1973 Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 I like it. The online coverage is much better than the outdoor channel's coverage. Really gets you up close and personal with a lot of the anglers. Most of them let you in on what they are fishing and how they are fishing it too. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
moguy1973 Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 That's part of what i actually like about it... Me too. The out of the way places like the ones they fished in Oklahoma are interesting. Makes it tougher for them to figure things out. They are the best of the best so why not make it somewhat challenging. IMO Would love to see them fish Maddox bay, beach the bass boat and take off bushwhacking to grab an old John and sculling paddle. That might be my favorite fishing in the world.
