Codywskeeter1521 Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Well broke down and bought me a super v. Not the newest or the top of the linE but for its age I must say it's been very well taken care of. When I bought the boat it had a mercury 175 efi on it. We'll I wasn't aware that the powerhead wasnt in the best shape. So after 4 trips to the lake and nothing but troubles. Took her to a friend who is a licensed boat mechanic. Broke the bad news to me that it was going to cost more to put a new powerhead on it then it would to buy a nice used mercury. So called around to some local shops and ulrich had a 1999 mercury 150 with low hours and was a trade in. I must say I'm very impressed with ulrich and will be going back for any service and would recommend them to anyone. So now she's lake ready. I love the ride and the way she handles for a 18ft 4in boat. If anyone has any more info on these boat I'd love to learn More. Thanks cody<a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=11j0m5y"target

Ketchup Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Good lookin boat. My buddy Donnie had the same boat, same color years ago. We fished the heck out of that boat for a few years. Good luck with it and the new motor. Codywskeeter1521 1 TinBoats BassClub. Â An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.Â

Now I'm curious what you spent on the repower. And do you now have the blown 175 for sale ? Codywskeeter1521 1
Codywskeeter1521 Posted April 15, 2015 Author Posted April 15, 2015 Hey fishinwrench 150 cost me 3600 bucks. They took the 175 off my hands to install my new motor for labor. my first trip was a rough one with the new motor kept getting over heat alarM. I called ulrich and they flat out took care of me. Pulled in the same day dropped everything and had both mechanics on my boat. when I say I've been very pleased with ulrich and they way they handle business and there customers it's a understatemenT. Hard to find those kind of people and customer service Anymore. Plus 10
