Great job taking your dad. Wish mine would still go but he just doesn't enjoy like he used to. Still does lots of yard work and such that he enjoys more, so whatever keeps him happy and active at 86.

Cute purse you have sitting on the front deck. Was it on sale and where can I snag one? LOL

Well you send Zona, Mercer, and Wheldon some cash, and they send you a worm purse. Hurry, this offer ends soon! LOL!

I run a HP180 with a 115 Yamaha. Does fish pretty nice. Would really like a little more storage place. What motor is on yours and what kind of speed do you get out of it?

I HAD a HP 180 with a Yammy 130. The motor self destructed and multiple opinions came back with same repair needs an $4000 dollar estimate. I sold the motor for parts and got some money for the boat.

I GPS'ed 54 MPH with two guys and full load. It very happily ran mid 40's at 4500 RPMs which is what I mostly ran. I could turn around in a really tight turn at a high rate of speed. It was crazy.

I'm in a Bass Cat Cougar with a Pro XS 250 HP now. I really haven't tweaked the set up and I can get 72 MPH on GPS but it gets loose. 70 MPH is rock solid. Low 50's at 4500 RPM. Really good on gas as long as I don't get goofy. I'm not burning a lot more than I did with the G3.

I've got a Yammy 200 on it. It will run a little over 70 with flat to mild chop. You gotta trim her down in rough water. It is the same storage layout as the Skeeter 225's.

Nice work taking your dad out. I'm in the same boat so speak. Fished TR since I was 4, dad lives on the lake, boat on a lift, but seldom if ever goes out by himself as a 73 year old. I used to fish a lot of tournaments and enjoyed them, but nothing like taking dad and my kids out now. Glad you had a great day. Sometimes you just need to tell the boss you aren't coming in and take a mental health day. No regrets. I bet we live longer if we take the time. Nicely done. FYI, I've been doing better on bigger fish with a scrounger head in 15'-20'.

Give your dad a hello for me. Don't think I have seen him since Pop's funeral in Boone. Quite a long time ago. He'd be more than welcome to jump in the back when I am down.
