Fish24/7 Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 while morel hunting I came across something i'd never seen before. What looked like a baby snake but it had no head? It looked, moved and wiggled like a nightcrawler, but it had tiny scales. It was black on the back with a bright red belly, about the thickness of a pencil, around 9" long. Wasn't a millipede or anything like that. Any ideas? I had left the camera in the truck

Fish24/7 Posted April 19, 2015 Author Posted April 19, 2015 bet that was it, head looked just like it's arse, lol it was so small didn't see the eyes I guess. I must have still been distracted by the morel i found that was the size of a bottle of water! biggest one I've ever found
Johnsfolly Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 A worm snake would have been my guess. We found one in our yard a couple of years ago. Pretty cool little critter. Nice morel. I have been skunked so far this year.
