Members momule Posted April 23, 2015 Members Posted April 23, 2015 Hello Ozarkians...I'm new to the forum here in April 2015 but have been fishing and boating Missouri Ozark waters since childhood...many years ago. Recently bought a new-to-me 14' Lowe flat bottom with a 25 HP Merc and I'm ready to get out again. If you see a boat like that on the Missouri River around Washington, Mo with an older couple on board, stop and say hi cause that would be me and my gal Susie. Nice to have these forums since they deal with the stuff I've always loved. Retirement is wonderful...getting old isn't. Always live by running water...it gives you a means of escape.
Greasy B Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Welcome to the forum momule, We don't hear much about fishing the Missouri River. I'm look forward to gaining some understanding about the big river in my back yard that I have hardly fished. His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma. Michael Palin, Terry Jones, 1974
Smallieguy87 Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Welcome to the forums momule. I'm looking forward to reading some fishing reports from the Mighty MO.
fishinwrench Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 I keep hearing some very intriguing reports regarding Hybrid stripers (big ones) coming from the MO river. Not sure where those are escaping from but it sure has my attention. You know anything about that, mule ?
rainbow Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Hi momule. I'm just across the river from you. Have fun on the Mo but be careful in that 14 footer. Some tough currents on there. good cat fishing above Washington.
Members Kcdangler Posted April 26, 2015 Members Posted April 26, 2015 Welcome momule looking forward to your report feel lucky everyone doesn't get the chance to get old.
