Yep it is a fun team to watch.

I'm in a sort of baseball no-mans land in NW AR. The FOXARS channel is split between Cards and Royals games, but so far this year they have been showing a lot of Royals games. I also get every Rangers game on FoxSSW. We have a Royals AA team here and KC is the closest MLB team to the area, but for some reason they just don't have a big fan base down here. Maybe success will change that.

Success? One solid year is a good thing for a bandwagon. Have you heard about St. Louis? ;)

Playoffs, kinda an annual deal! I guess when its a once every decade deal for your team you probably don't notice the perennial powerhouses that get it done year in and year out even with major injuries in their lineup.

Eh, go start a Cardinals thread.

Except when they meet the Royals in the World Series.

But in all seriousness, I'd like to see a Cards/Royals Series this year.

That would be cool, but you can't have a Cards/Royals series without Cards fans. Having all them in town -- well, it makes my skin crawl just thinking about it.

That would be perfect, I thought it would happen last year, maybe this year.

it's pretty easy to make the playoffs every year when you play in the weakest division in baseball
